What camera settings work best for event photography?

Asked by Photoresk Team 1 month ago

I'm new to photography and will be attending my first Photoresk meetup soon. What camera settings should I use for indoor group events and outdoor photo walks?

For indoor events, try Manual mode with ISO 1600-3200, aperture f/2.8-f/4, and shutter speed 1/60s or faster. For outdoor photo walks, start with Aperture Priority mode at f/8-f/11. Don't forget to shoot in RAW format for better post-processing flexibility!
