❓ Why is Photoresk leaving Meetup?
💸 Meetup has become increasingly expensive and limiting. Photoresk is moving to photoresk.com to give members more freedom, direct updates, and new features — without the costs and constraints of third-party platforms.
📍 Will there still be local meetups in Brussels, Cologne, etc.?
Absolutely! 🗺️ Events in Brussels, Cologne, and more will continue — all listed on our new home at photoresk.com.
💳 Do I need to pay to join Photoresk now?
Nope! 🆓 Basic membership is free. Optional paid upgrades will offer extras like personal galleries, but the core community stays open to all.
📝 How do I register on the new site?
Easy! Just head over to photoresk.com/application-form and click “Apply for Membership.” It only takes a moment.
🧾 What happens to my Meetup history?
It won’t transfer automatically, but we recognize past engagement. ✨ You can optionally include your previous participation in your Photoresk profile.
🔔 Will I still get event notifications?
Yes! 📬 Once registered, you’ll receive event invites and updates tailored to your selected group(s).
📱 Is there a mobile app?
Not yet — but our site works smoothly on smartphones. 📲 A dedicated app may come in the future if members request it.
💻 What about the Club Room and online events?
Our virtual events continue! 🧑💻 The Club Room and other online gatherings will now be more integrated into your member profile on the new site.
🌍 I only joined one local group. Do I have to follow all?
No worries! 🎯 You can pick your preferred cities or themes — and get updates just for them.
