Hello, trees have lost their leaves and the view of a swamp is something very spectral during the last hours of the day when the fog can rise up.
The place to explore is the swamps of Blaasveld (Blaasveldbroek). We can reach those with DeLijn bus 86 from Mechelen Station, every 30 minutes at xx:19 and xx:49.
We can meet at Mechelen SNCB station at 12 and aim to take all together the bus at 12:19.
Bring torches, since it we likely end up in the darkness, and warm clothes. It could be muddy, so proper shoes are recommended to keep feet dry. And also warm beverages and snack to share!
Expect to walk at least 6 km, walking speed will be slow.
After the event we can have a drink all together in a bar of Mechelen or Willebroek.
The event might be cancelled in case of adverse weather.
