Photoresk is going to Lesvos

Dear Friends and Happy Shuttercounts, Photoresk is getting ready for the very first Photoresk Photo Trip to the Greek Island of Lesvos. THERE ARE STILL A COUPLE OF SPOTS LEFT. The Photo Trip will cover all genres of photography ranging from Street and Rural Life Photography in the towns and villages to Nature and Landscapes around this picturesque island. Lesvos is not only famous for its variety of landscapes and little villages, it’s also known for being one of the hotspots of the refugee crisis. Following our learning-and-sharing methodology, we have decided to support the local NGOs by a financial donation as well as by giving “old” cameras for creative projects to empower the refugee youth. Let us take a piece of happiness with your “old” camera equipment or even join us on the trip (info about the trip here: http://www.photoresk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Announcement-Lesvos.pdf, and https://www.meetup.com/Photoresk/events/236335271/ hurry up – the seats are limited, deadline is end of February!)

New life for “old” digital cameras

Us, Happy Shuttercounts, know well that a common interest facilitates communication – across cultural and social borders. We are looking for digital cameras that are not older than 5 years; any type of functional digital camera is suitable. Please, also check battery and charger. Memory cards of any type are also welcome!

Meetup coming soon!
